2.31" ID to 2.5" ID x 90 Degree Rubber Cobra Head Elbow

2-5/16" ID to 2-1/2" ID x 90 degree rubber cobra head elbow. This is the special version made to fit most one-barrel carburetors (the straight part on top of the carb must be long enough to clamp the elbow on securely). The 2-5/16" end is the short end; the 2-1/2" end is the long end.

Cobra head elbows are used when clearance is extremely limited, such as when an air cleaner outlet is up against a firewall. There is no other way to make a really tight bend without losing airflow.

How does the cobra head make such a tight bend without increasing turbulence? It flares out, creating more volume internally without increasing length. Use a cobra head anywhere a standard or short-radius elbow will not fit.

Temperature rated at 250-275°F.

It can also be used where sizes are close. The 2-5/16" end will stretch to 2-1/2" with some effort, and it will also clamp down onto 2-1/4" easily.

Recommended clamps:

• Small end on a standard 2-5/16" carb or tube: 94100-0275 on the small end and 94100-0288 on the big end.
• Small end on a 2-1/4" tube: 94100-0262 on the small end and 94100-0288 on the big end.
• Small end on a 2-1/2" tube: 94100-0288 on both ends.
