12V–24V Car Power Cable for Starlink Mini
Power your Starlink Mini directly from a compatible vehicle cigarette-lighter or accessory socket without relying on an AC inverter — ideal for cars, RVs, trucks, vans, boats, camping and mobile work setups.
Direct Vehicle DC Power
Connect Starlink Mini directly to a compatible 12V or 24V vehicle accessory socket without first converting vehicle power to household AC.
Replaceable 15A Fuse
A user-replaceable 15A fuse is built into the cigarette-lighter plug to provide overcurrent protection for the power circuit.
Sealed Mini DC Connector
The 5.5 × 2.1mm Mini-side DC plug includes a sealing gasket to help protect the connection during normal outdoor and mobile use.
A Simpler Way to Power Starlink Mini on the Road
Starlink Mini supports DC input, making a direct vehicle-power setup possible without requiring a separate AC inverter for compatible applications.
Run a portable Starlink Mini setup from a compatible vehicle accessory socket during travel, field work or temporary remote connectivity.
Extend Starlink Mini away from the vehicle or RV while retaining a straightforward DC power source.
Suitable for compatible 12V or 24V accessory sockets in RV, camper and marine power systems when properly protected and installed.
A red LED on the vehicle plug gives a quick visual indication that power is present at the socket.
Direct Cable — Not a 30V Step-Up Converter
This product does not contain the large 12V-to-30V conversion module found in some Starlink Mini car chargers. It connects compatible 12V/24V vehicle DC power directly to the Starlink Mini DC input.
Built for Vehicle Power Connections
Fused Vehicle Plug
The cigarette-lighter plug combines a replaceable 15A fuse, copper spring contact, metal screw cap and red power indicator in one compact housing.
Starlink Mini Only
The 5.5 × 2.1mm connector is designed for the Starlink Mini DC input and should not be confused with the power systems used by Standard Gen 2, Gen 3 or Flat High Performance.
Plug In, Route the Cable, Connect Starlink Mini
Verify that the accessory socket provides compatible 12V or 24V DC power and is capable of supporting the Starlink Mini load.
Push the cigarette-lighter plug fully into the vehicle power socket for a secure electrical connection.
Confirm that the red power indicator on the vehicle plug illuminates before connecting the dish.
Keep the cable away from pedals, steering components, airbags, sharp edges, hot surfaces and door pinch points.
Insert the sealed 5.5 × 2.1mm DC connector into the Starlink Mini power port and verify a firm connection.
Place the Mini where it has the clearest practical view of the sky while keeping the cable protected and securely routed.
Starlink Mini supports 12V input, but long cable runs, undersized wiring or a weak vehicle socket can reduce the voltage reaching the dish. If Mini restarts or behaves inconsistently, check socket voltage, cable length, connections and the vehicle electrical system.
If your vehicle accessory socket remains powered while the vehicle is off, disconnect the cable during extended parking to avoid unnecessary vehicle-battery drain.

Quick Answers
Is this cable only for Starlink Mini? +
Yes. The current product is designed around the Starlink Mini DC power connector and should not be used for Standard Gen 2, Standard Gen 3 or Flat High Performance hardware.
Can Starlink Mini really run directly from 12V? +
Yes. Starlink's current official specification lists a 12–48V DC input range with a 60W maximum input rating. However, voltage drop in long or undersized 12V wiring can affect reliability.
Does this cable boost 12V to 30V? +
No separate 30V step-up converter is specified for this product. It is a direct cigarette-lighter-to-Mini DC cable.
Does it work with 24V trucks or RVs? +
Yes, the current cable specification lists compatibility with 12V and 24V vehicle accessory sockets.
What connector plugs into Starlink Mini? +
The Mini end uses a 5.5 × 2.1mm DC barrel connector with a sealing gasket.
Does the plug have a fuse? +
Yes. A replaceable 15A fuse is installed inside the cigarette-lighter plug.
What does the red light on the plug mean? +
It is a power indicator showing that the vehicle plug is receiving electrical power.
Which cable length should I choose? +
Choose 3M for shorter vehicle or compact RV routes and 5M when the Mini needs to sit farther from the power socket. Use the shortest practical cable length for a cleaner route and reduced voltage-drop risk.
Is a 10M version available? +
The manufacturer description still references a 10M version, but the current visible selector shows 3M and 5M. Check the live product options before ordering if you specifically need 10M.
Why might Starlink Mini reboot on a 12V setup? +
Common power-related causes include voltage drop from long or undersized wiring, a weak vehicle socket, poor contacts, low battery voltage or an overloaded accessory circuit.
Is the whole cable waterproof? +
The Mini-side connector includes a waterproof sealing gasket, but no verified IP rating for the complete cable assembly is currently published.
Can I leave it plugged in when the vehicle is parked? +
If your accessory socket remains live when the vehicle is switched off, disconnecting the cable during long-term parking can help prevent unnecessary vehicle-battery drain.
Is Starlink Mini included? +
No. The package contains the selected-length vehicle power cable, carry bag and user manual. Starlink Mini is not included.
