Why These Sporty Mirror Caps Stand Out
Dedicated mirror molds follow the corresponding Tesla factory shell rather than relying on a universal flexible cover.
The pronounced upper edge changes the visual shape of the mirror without requiring replacement of the complete side-mirror assembly.
The overlay covers much of the visible factory mirror shell and can help shield the covered surface from light everyday scuffs and contact.

Overlay — Not a Replacement Mirror Shell
The original Tesla mirror cap remains installed underneath. The carbon component fits over the factory shell and bonds to its exterior surface. Do not remove the mirror glass or original housing for normal installation.
Genuine Carbon with a Sculpted Extended Edge
Natural carbon weave alignment, resin tone and clearcoat appearance can vary slightly between parts and production batches. An exact visual match with a separately purchased spoiler or other carbon accessory is not guaranteed.
Dry-Fit First — Then Bond
Compare your original mirror shell with the selected vehicle mold before removing any adhesive liner.
Remove wax, silicone, oil, dust and moisture with a paint-safe cleaner and allow the surface to dry completely.
With the adhesive liner still in place, position both caps and confirm the entire perimeter sits naturally without rocking, forcing or large uneven gaps.
Carefully check the full folding path and confirm the extended cap does not contact the mirror glass, trim, camera area or vehicle body.
Align the long sporty outer edge first, progressively remove the adhesive liner and lower the cap into place without creating tension.
Apply even pressure around the full perimeter, allow the adhesive bond to develop and recheck several complete mirror-folding cycles while parked.
If the cap rocks, requires pressure to stay seated or leaves an abnormal perimeter gap during the dry fit, stop installation. Extra adhesive should not be used to compensate for the wrong mold.
The latest manufacturer source now offers a dedicated Model Y Juniper 2025+ / Model YL 2026+ mold, but the current TESKAY product selector does not yet list that version. Do not order the existing Model Y 2020–2024 option for a Juniper or Model YL unless compatibility is separately confirmed.
