- Lexus IS Series: 2014ā2020 ā installs on top of your existing chrome
ā ļø Before you install: Peel off the protective film from each component to reveal the glossy black surface underneath. Some trimming around the edges may be necessary for an ideal fit. We suggest viewing the installation video and test-fitting all components before removing the adhesive backing.
Installation Tips
- Clean the chrome thoroughly with soap and water, then rubbing alcohol, to remove anything that could hinder adhesion
- For best results, use an adhesion promoter on the OEM chrome surface and a heat gun to help the adhesive bond securely; adhesive glue on the back of the pieces can further improve adherence
- Allow the tape 24ā48 hours to fully cure
- Warranty does not cover improper installation, or fading/discoloration from extreme temperatures or harsh cleaning chemicals
