Dashboard RGB Lights with Integrated BSD System for Tesla Model 3 & Model Y

Turn your dashboard ambient lighting into an intelligent visual information layer with full-spectrum RGB effects, vehicle-status animations and supplemental blind-spot alerts positioned directly in your peripheral field of view.

Native BSD data · Individually controlled RGB · Plug-in integration
Dashboard RGB ambient lights with blind spot alert system installed in Tesla Model 3 and Model Y
⚠️

Integrated Blind-Spot Alerts

Mirrors compatible Tesla blind-spot status through large, side-specific dashboard light cues that are easier to notice in peripheral vision than a small isolated indicator.

🌈

Individually Addressable RGB

Individually controlled RGB LEDs support full-spectrum colors, flowing effects and segmented visual cues instead of operating as one single-color light strip.

🚘

Vehicle-Status Lighting

The lighting system can provide visual feedback for supported vehicle states including turn signals, door status, Autopilot operation and dynamic driving effects.

More Than an Ambient Light Strip

🟠
Two-stage blind-spot warning

When the vehicle reports an object in a blind spot, the corresponding dashboard side can display a steady amber/orange warning.

🔴
Strong warning during lane-change intent

If the corresponding turn signal is activated while the vehicle reports an occupied blind spot, the alert escalates to a flashing red visual warning.

🟢
Turn-signal visualization

Supported turn-signal activity can also be represented visually on the corresponding side of the dashboard light strip.

🚪
Door-open status cue

Door status can trigger a dedicated light response, giving the cabin another visual indication when a door remains open or is being operated.

🏎️
Dynamic driving effects

Supported modes include throttle-responsive animation, Autopilot visual effects and additional vehicle-status lighting for a more interactive cockpit.

Uses Tesla's Existing Vehicle Data

This system does not add independent blind-spot radar hardware. It reads compatible vehicle data and turns existing blind-spot and status information into a larger dashboard lighting cue.

Intelligent Lighting That Responds to the Car

Two-stage blind spot alert using amber and red dashboard lighting

Peripheral BSD Warning

Side-specific lighting provides both a normal blind-spot cue and a stronger visual warning when lane-change intent and blind-spot occupancy occur together.

OEM touchscreen and steering wheel control methods for Tesla RGB ambient lighting

Vehicle-Specific Control

Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper support OEM touchscreen integration, while compatible earlier Model 3/Y versions use steering-wheel control for lighting adjustments.

Dynamic Autopilot Effect

A flowing RGB sequence can provide a distinctive visual effect when supported Autopilot status is active.

Function Availability Can Vary

Available vehicle-status effects can vary by Tesla generation, processor, vehicle software and selected product version. Always select the exact model/year configuration when ordering.

Select the Exact Vehicle Version

Model 3 2017–2020.10 / Model Y 2020 Intel vehicle version
Model 3 2021–2023.10 / Model Y 2021–2025.03 AMD vehicle version
Model 3 Highland 2024+
Model Y Juniper 2025+
LHD / RHD Must Also Match

Left-Hand Drive and Right-Hand Drive interiors require the corresponding product configuration. Confirm both vehicle version and steering position before installation.

Plug-In Installation

1. Remove the Required Trim

Use a suitable trim tool to carefully release the required dashboard trim sections according to the installation guide for your vehicle version.

2. Position the LED Strip

Apply the supplied mounting tape where instructed and align the LED strip evenly along the designated dashboard trim path.

3. Connect the Vehicle-Specific Harness

Connect the supplied control modules and harnesses to the designated factory connectors. No wire cutting or splicing is required for the compatible configuration.

4. Test Before Reassembly

Test RGB control, turn-signal behavior and supported status functions before reinstalling all dashboard trim panels.

Non-Destructive Electrical Connection

The electrical system is designed around vehicle-specific plug-in harnesses without cutting or splicing original wiring. Physical installation still requires trim access and mounting the light strip with the supplied adhesive materials.

Blind-Spot Lighting Is a Supplemental Cue

Always use your mirrors, vehicle display and direct visual checks before changing lanes. The ambient-light warning supplements compatible vehicle information and should never be treated as an independent collision-avoidance system.

Quick Answers

Does this system add new blind-spot sensors? +

No. It uses compatible blind-spot information from the Tesla vehicle and converts that status into a larger dashboard lighting cue.

How does the blind-spot warning work? +

A detected blind-spot condition can illuminate the corresponding side amber/orange. If the turn signal is also active toward the occupied side, the system can escalate the cue to flashing red.

Can I adjust blind-spot sensitivity? +

The light system follows the compatible vehicle's native blind-spot status rather than operating its own adjustable radar sensor, so detection sensitivity is tied to the vehicle system.

Can Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper use the Tesla touchscreen? +

Yes. The current product specification lists OEM touchscreen integration for compatible Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper versions, including supported RGB color and effect control.

Do older Model 3 and Model Y versions work? +

Yes, but the correct Intel or AMD vehicle version must be selected. Control behavior also differs from Highland/Juniper touchscreen integration.

Do I need to choose LHD or RHD? +

Yes. Select the configuration that matches your vehicle's driver position because dashboard layout and installation routing differ between LHD and RHD interiors.

Does installation require cutting Tesla wiring? +

No. The compatible electrical installation uses supplied plug-in harnesses and does not require cutting or splicing original vehicle wiring.

Does installation require removing dashboard trim? +

Yes. Although the electrical connection is plug-in and non-destructive, installation requires access behind selected dashboard trim sections and positioning the LED strip along the designated trim path.

Does the light strip use adhesive? +

Yes. Current installation materials include double-sided adhesive for securing the LED strip at the specified dashboard position.

Does it require a phone app? +

No third-party phone app is required for the current control system. Controls are integrated through supported vehicle interfaces depending on the selected version.

Is the BSD light a substitute for checking mirrors? +

No. It is a supplemental visual cue only. Always use mirrors, direct visual checks and normal safe lane-change procedures regardless of the lighting indication.

What is included in the kit? +

The current kit imagery shows the RGB LED strip, vehicle-specific control modules and wiring, threading line, trim/pry tool and mounting tapes. Exact harness configuration varies with the selected vehicle version.
