The Granatelli GM-MM1517 Heavy-Duty Motor Mounts are designed for performance Ford Mustang applications where the factory hydraulic mounts allow excessive engine movement under acceleration, hard shifting and aggressive driving.
By creating a more rigid connection between the engine and chassis, these mounts help reduce engine twist, improve drivetrain stability and transfer power more efficiently—making them an excellent upgrade for modified street cars, drag cars, road-course builds and high-horsepower Mustangs.

Factory hydraulic motor mounts are designed with comfort and vibration isolation in mind. As power levels increase—or as the original mounts begin to wear—the engine can move excessively inside the chassis.

Performance Note: Heavy-duty motor mounts create a more rigid engine-to-chassis connection than soft factory hydraulic mounts. Depending on the vehicle and other modifications, increased engine vibration may be felt inside the cabin. This is normal for a performance-oriented motor mount.
