Standard Heat Protection: The 28-1629S provides base heat protection similar to an OEM-style spark plug wire. This is not Granatelli's upgraded high-temperature or Kevlar-boot version. If the wires will be positioned extremely close to headers or other intense heat sources, choose one of Granatelli's dedicated high-temperature wire sets instead.

The biggest advantage of the 28-1629S is its 0-Ohm conductor design. Conventional spark plug wires use resistance that consumes part of the electrical energy generated by the ignition coil before it reaches the plug.
