The Granatelli 760500 Tire Fryer Universal 4-Port Line Lock Kit gives performance and drag-racing vehicles precise control over hydraulic brake pressure for controlled burnouts and pre-race tire preparation.
Unlike the 760300 valve-only version, 760500 is a complete line-lock kit featuring Granatelli’s rebuildable electric solenoid valve, activation switch and supporting installation components in a versatile 4-port configuration.

Built for Controlled Burnouts
A line lock uses an electrically activated solenoid to temporarily maintain hydraulic pressure in a selected brake circuit. In a typical drag-racing installation, the driver applies the brakes, activates the line lock and releases the brake pedal while the selected brakes remain engaged.
This allows the drive tires to rotate while the selected brakes hold the vehicle, making it easier to perform a controlled burnout and properly heat the tires before staging.
