The PLM Backdoor Front Mount Intercooler is engineered for high-horsepower turbocharged applications that demand maximum airflow and efficient charge air cooling. Featuring a unique backdoor inlet and outlet design, this intercooler allows for shorter piping routes, improved throttle response, and cleaner engine bay routing compared to traditional front-entry intercoolers.

Constructed from high-quality aluminum and utilizing a high-density bar-and-plate core, this intercooler is designed to withstand high boost pressures while maintaining excellent thermal efficiency. The large dual 3-inch inlet and outlet configuration supports substantial airflow, making it ideal for aggressive street builds, track cars, and high-boost setups.

With a cooling capacity rated to support approximately 600–850 horsepower, this intercooler offers excellent performance headroom while remaining versatile enough for a wide range of custom installations. Multiple mounting bungs are integrated into the end tanks to simplify custom mounting solutions.
