Starlink Mini 12V Power Kit 150W PoE Injector & Splitter
Power and network your Starlink Mini directly from a compatible DC battery system without relying on a conventional AC inverter. The kit combines DC voltage conversion, passive PoE injection and Gigabit Ethernet, allowing one Ethernet run to carry both power and data toward the Starlink Mini.
DC-to-PoE Power Conversion
Converts a wide DC 9–36V source into the 48V PoE supply used by the kit, making it suitable for many 12V and 24V vehicle, RV, battery and off-grid electrical systems.
Gigabit Power + Data
Supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet so one cable route can deliver both power and network data before the splitter separates them again near the Starlink Mini.
Built for Mobile DC Systems
A practical solution for RVs, campers, vans, boats, battery boxes and other compatible mobile installations where direct DC power is available.
A Cleaner DC Power Path for Starlink Mini
Connect the injector to a properly fused compatible 9–36V DC source instead of converting battery power to household AC and then back to DC.
The PoE injector combines DC power with Ethernet data, reducing the need to route separate long power and data cables between your network equipment and dish.
The Starlink Mini-side splitter separates the incoming PoE connection into a DC barrel power lead and RJ45 Ethernet connection for the dish.
Manufacturer specifications list ±8kV surge protection and ±15kV air-discharge ESD protection for added electrical protection in mobile installations.
Current manufacturer specifications list operation from -25°C to +70°C (-13°F to 158°F).
150W-Class Rating — 48V / 3A Electrical Specification
The manufacturer markets the system as a 150W PoE kit, while the detailed output specification is 48V / 3A, which equals 144W nominal. This page therefore keeps both values transparent rather than treating 150W as an exact continuous 48V × 3A calculation.
How the PoE Power System Works
Start with a compatible properly fused 9–36V DC power source such as an RV or battery electrical system.
The injector steps the supply up to the specified 48V / 3A output and combines power with Ethernet data.
The POE port sends power and Gigabit-compatible network data over the same compatible Ethernet cable.
At the Starlink Mini, the splitter separates power into the DC barrel plug while providing a dedicated RJ45 data lead.
This is not a generic IEEE PoE accessory for arbitrary network equipment. Use only the intended Starlink Mini wiring method, compatible injector/splitter components and correct cable pinout. Incorrect passive-PoE wiring, polarity or voltage can damage connected equipment.
Build a Clean Mobile Starlink Mini Power Setup
Confirm your DC source stays within the published 9–36V input range under normal operating conditions.
Protect the DC supply cable with appropriately sized over-current protection near the battery or source.
Connect your compatible router, PC or network device to the injector LAN port if wired Ethernet data is required.
Connect a compatible Ethernet cable from the injector's POE output toward the Starlink Mini installation location.
Attach the RJ45 cable to the waterproof splitter housing, install the sealing rings and tighten the threaded cover.
Connect the splitter's dedicated DC power plug and RJ45 data lead to the corresponding Starlink Mini interfaces.
Current product imagery lists an IP68 waterproof rating for the sealed Starlink Mini-side splitter / connector assembly. Keep the injector, exposed terminals and other electrical connections protected from direct water unless their own enclosure rating is independently confirmed.

Quick Answers
Is this only for 12V systems? +
No. Although the product is marketed as a 12V power kit, the current electrical specification lists a DC 9–36V input range, covering many compatible 12V and 24V systems.
Is the output really 150W? +
The manufacturer markets it as a 150W-class kit, while the detailed output specification is 48V / 3A, which is 144W nominal. Both figures are shown transparently here.
Does this replace the Starlink Mini AC power adapter? +
It is designed to provide a direct DC-powered alternative for compatible mobile or off-grid installations, eliminating the need to run the Mini through a conventional AC inverter.
Does one Ethernet cable carry both power and data? +
Yes. The injector combines power and data onto the POE Ethernet run, and the Mini-side splitter separates them back into Ethernet and DC power connections.
Does it support Gigabit Ethernet? +
Yes. Current manufacturer specifications list 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet support.
Can I use my own router? +
The injector provides a LAN interface for compatible network equipment. Your router or networking configuration must be appropriate for the Starlink Mini Ethernet setup you intend to use.
Can I use it in an RV or camper? +
Yes, provided the DC system is within the published voltage range and is correctly fused, wired and sized for the load.
Is this an IEEE 802.3af/at PoE injector? +
This product is intended as a passive PoE solution for Starlink Mini. Do not assume compatibility with unrelated standard-PoE devices.
Can incorrect wiring damage my Starlink Mini? +
Yes. Passive PoE places DC power directly onto Ethernet conductors, so incorrect pinout, polarity, voltage or incompatible equipment can cause damage.
Is the entire kit IP68? +
Current product imagery lists IP68 for the sealed Mini-side splitter / connector assembly. The complete injector with exposed electrical terminals is not treated here as fully IP68.
Does it include electrical protection? +
Manufacturer specifications list ±8kV surge protection and ±15kV air ESD protection. Proper external fusing and correct DC wiring are still required.
Does it work with Starlink Standard Gen 3? +
This specific product is listed for Starlink Mini. Starlink Standard Gen 3 uses different power hardware and should use a dedicated compatible Gen 3 solution.
Is this an official Starlink product? +
No. This is an aftermarket power and networking accessory designed for use with Starlink Mini.
