Remove dust, wax, oil and detailing-product residue, then fully dry the painted mirror surfaces.
Place each cover over the factory cap with the adhesive liner intact and inspect the full perimeter, glass gap and folding-pivot clearance.
Remove the backing from the pre-applied automotive adhesive, center the overlay and apply firm, even pressure around all bonded areas.
Fold and unfold both mirrors after installation and confirm that the carbon covers do not contact the glass, pivot section or surrounding trim.
If the cover rocks, leaves an unusual gap, reaches into the mirror-glass area or does not follow the lower factory edge, stop installation and recheck the selected model-year version.
